Hi I'm Steve Tasker

So, many years ago I'm asked would I help out and play a gig as the original mandolin player has gone walk about- apparently he never came back as 14+ years later I'm still here!

My previous band experiences culminated in a band with my brother Glenn called Southern Highways International Truckers. It's all in the initials!

Over those years I have added banjo and guitar playing to my part in the band as the range of music and instrumentation in the band has flourished due to the huge talent and versitility of those around me Also, from one who couldn't hold a note in a bucket, due to the encouragement of the others, Sussex Bitter and Guinness I now, with the help of a great PA system, thanks Richard, sing an increasing number of songs with the band.
