My name is Mary and I'm married to Ed the bass and bodrhan player, but enough of my problems. I've been in the band since it started about 15 years ago. I had not long had the accordian at that time but had always wanted to play one. I'd played the piano since childhood and picked up the accordian easily because of that. I'm half Irish on my mothers side and my dad loves all music - he had all of us learning instruments from an early age, I also play the oboe in a local orchestra and I am a church organist.

Most of the practices are in my house and we are very lucky to have tolerant neighbours , although on reflection they do tend to move a lot!
