I am the baby of the band. My name is Louise and I play the flute, the whistle and I sing. I started playing with the band at the age of 14 when my Mum was a member. Mary and Ed have known me form birth. We are all good friends but Mary and Ed are almost Kin to me.

When I was 8 years old my Father bought for me a plastic black and white flute. (I had already been playing the recorder for a couple of years.) This gift was the beginning. Now at the age of 31 years I am performing with great musicians.

I have met some extremely talented people and have been influenced and taught by some of the most amazing men and women. Mr Aedan Kerney MBA I must mention. All these people have passion and deep beliefs. Which brings me on to Irish music and ' The Village Band'.

Passion and belief is strong in the Band and the music we play, but having the ability to adapt & create to the clients needs is what makes us a Professional Band.
